Young Observer Program

The young observer program is dedicated to all international medical students and residents and gives you the opportunity to spend some time at the Fondazione I.R.C.C.S. Istituto Neurologico “Carlo Besta” within the Neurosurgery department.

Once you sing up for the program you will participate in all of the Institute’s activities with a focus on simulation as a mean of practicing and putting into action what you have observed and learnt at the Institute.

Titus Faragasi, Medical Student from Romania

“My observership at Besta was an example of the medicine of the future. Dealing with real patients, seeing top doctors practicing medicine in the best way possible, but with some piece of technology which is far beyond our times and then having the opportunity to get a hands-on experience at the NeuroSim.”

Giada Garufi, Medical student from Italy

“My Observership experience at Besta has been exciting: it led me into a professional reality where the highest level of medical practise meets innovation and development.”

Nikos Giannakopoulos, Medical Student from Cyprus

“My visit at Carlo Besta Institute and at the Simulation center exceeded all my expectations. I might have left but my mind is still there.”
